Re: Hardrive Help!
You need to tell us what your specs are and be very specific about the type of drive, the brand name of the drive, and how/where you have it hooked up. That way we get a better idea what we are looking at.

Re: Hardrive Help!
I understand the difficulty that you are having, and I must assume you have a Seagate drive, because I never heard of a Seanix drive. Is this correct???
If you have a model number or at least know if it is a Sata drive or an IDE drive, that information is absolutely necessary to begin to look for a cause. Am I also to assume (drive D) that you are not putting an OS on this drive, and that you want to use it only for storage? What brand name and model motherboard do you have?

Re: Hardrive Help!
Ok..but still..cuz I tried to reformat it and it wouldn't get rid of my old account so I tried installing the hardrive and it wouldn't work..cuz that's the problem right...as to why it didn't erase the old account...

Re: Hardrive Help!
Go HERE and download the Maxtor utility to a floppy, then run it against the drive to see what it tells you.
