AC97 driver won't take!!!
I have been having trouble with my audio on my Gigabyte GA-7ZXE mobo.
Sound is distorted so I uninstall AC97 Audio Controller(WDM) restart, Windows recognizes installs drivers again and all is fine ,music etc sounds fine, no distortion until I restart and back to distorted sound. Uninstall same thing. Tried using the audio drivers from Gigabyte to update driver but Windows says drivers for device not on disc but they are. Is there a way of stopping Windows from auto loading drivers, no cancel butons just balloon windows and close them but they still install The read me file on the Gigabyte drivers says it is for PCI multimedia controller although file says AC97. Thanks in advance |
