ASUS PB-5E onboard sound card driver

I just installed a new mother board and processor, and my sound capabiliets are zero! I installed the required driver ADI AD1988 soundmax driver, and still told "Driver not found, reboot, and install again". I have tried updating every single piece of windows soft ware, . net framework and what have you and still its not happening! If anyone had a similar problem and has a solution, I'd appreiate a reply! Thanks a million
