"Human Interface Device" is usually a mouse or keyboard, both of which XP should install drivers for automatically. If those are not what's not working then what device are you referring to (in other words, what doesn't work)?
EDIT: I notice you only have SP1 installed - you really would be well advised to install SP2 as it contains a lot of fixes and beefs up security for your system.
