why don they come off my machine

I would really like to know why after the trial period expired and I attempted to uninstall Outpost Firewall the thing refuses to go. This tells me one thing, the guys who write this software are not nice. No, not at all. I use their stuff for the trial period and when it expires I want it gone why then does it not just go? Tell Agnitum or whatever they call themselves that there is at least one person who they have offended seriously. Me. Do they think that after this I would want to use anything they produce even the free version. I would be crazy....
