I am unable to find the audio drivers for this mobo...it is an integrated sound card, but it will just NOT work! If anyone has any experience PLEASE help...this is driving me insane.

G'Day elf,

You could try this site here. This is driverguide.com, a fairly good resource for all sorts of drivers.

Or alternatively, go here, this one is, Drivers Headquarters. I use them all the time, as it has a unique scanner that scans the machine and suggests any updates for all components, especially those that are considered hard to get or antiques.

Give 'em a shot and let me know how you get on.

I tried that website...unfortunately they have no mention of this version of the motherboard. They come close, with an M817L but the one I was working on was a M817LMR.

I use this site fairly regularly, they have the driverguide toolkit which does the same thing as drivers headquarters.

It took me a while to find the audio drivers, but then even after I had them installed and the device manager said it was working it didn't work...that's when I posted this, thinking that the 56K modem (listed as !PCI DEVICE), was the reason it wasn't working. After a few minutes of working my friend suggested I check the cable in the back...and that was it. Apparently when his computer stopped playing music, he decided to just switch the cables around, and not put them back (and he neglected to tell me that).

Anyway guys thanks for the suggestions!
