What route do i take?
Right guys, ive hit a dilemma on what to do next ( You cant build a PC then not spend anymore ££ on it ).
Heres what ive been thinking. 1. Do i SLI my 8800GT . 2. Do i sell my CPU / Mobo and go to Intel 3. Do i sell my 8800GT and buy an 8800GTX ( I know the 8800GT is pretty much the same speed, but ive always wanted a "GTX" ).Or i can get the 8800GTS 512MB ( Dual slot cooler = Sexy lol ) 4. Buy an Antec 900 Case and make my stuff look pretty 5. Save my Money. What do you guys think i should do? Im getting right into Overclocking BUT i cant be bothered Wireing up the Power / Reset switch on a new motherboard. All advice welcome ![]() Last edited by HawMan : 03-30-2008 at 04:39 PM. |

Re: What route do i take?
Forc what gives you the impression i cant SLI?
![]() It would cost £210 for Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard and Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 2.66GHz (1333FSB) This is the route i think in taking, But like i said i HATE wiring up the case ![]() |

Re: What route do i take?
old nforce motherboards (all AMD SLI chipsets) wont SLI G90 and above cards. it retarded, i know, but not alot you can do about it. thats what was so special about 680i. you could SLI 8800s. i think you can SLI them on 680a, but no one does....
kudos if you have heard of 680a
