Rebuilding slowly
Hey guys, I was thinking of rebuilding my HP pavilion. I want to start by replacing the motherboard and processor with a better motherboard and a quad 3GHz processsor at the cheapest price. I couldn't find the name of my pavilion, but it's similar to the casing of the p6210y.

Re: Rebuilding slowly
The case is going to be a limiting factor, as they can usually only take mATX motherboards, and are quite cramped besides. You can pick up a CoolerMaster Centurion 5 or Antec 200 for $50.

Re: Rebuilding slowly
That depends a lot on your budget and your current hardware.
Download and run CPU-Z: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php Take screenshots of the CPU, Mainboard, RAM, and Graphics pages and post them here.
