![]() I am about to build my first PC I am trying to do a bit of homework before I buy any more components as have mostherboard asus P7P55D Deluxe iP55 Socket LGA 1156 and processor Core i7 860 2.8GHz Socket LGA 1156, I am just looking for a hard drive and wonder if there is a max within win 7 as to the max size drive it will recognise, I know this is how it worked with NT na 98 but have not done much between now and then as bought off the shelf. Could someone either point me in the direction of the restrictions with win 7 or let me know. Thanks |

Re: Windows 7 64bit Hardware Restrictions
i dont think there is a limit. i have an i7 870, 8 gigs ram, and a 1 terabye hitachi hdd, i have windows vista on mine though. so if you get a 1 terabyte it should be fine. im sure 2 terabyte would be recognized even.
hope this helps |
