Computer problem

Hey guys,
I'm having this problem where my computer just shut down on me last night while I was watching a video. I wasn't stressing the computer or anything. When I went to power on the machine again nothing happened, I turned the computer off completely by turning the power supply off. I waited about 10 mins, turned the power supply back on and tried the power button again, for a split second I saw the fans spin and nothing happened the computer shut down on its own again. I noticed that the phase lights, (phase light number 1) on the motherboard blinked as I did this, I also noticed that the PSU fan spinned for split second. I'm not sure if its a PSU problem or a Mobo problem do you think you guys can help me out with this. Could it be that I don't have enough watts for the computer? What do you guys think?

Computer specs:
-Gigabyte ep45-ud3p
-Intel Cor 2 duo E8400 - 3ghz
-Evga GTX 260 core 216
-Corsair HX620w
-4 gb ram(2x 2gb) Corsair ddr2 800mhz
-WD 1TB
-Antec 1200 case (6 led fans plus the 200mm)
-Windows XP Pro 64bit

I've checked all the power connections, unplugging and plugging things back in, tried different outlets.

The only thing I haven't tried is using a different PSU in the machine because I don't have an extra one laying around.

Just wanted to know what you guys might think is wrong and how I can fix my problem. Thanks in advanced.

Re: Computer problem

The symptoms point to a power problem. The GTS260 calls for minimum 500W PSU so you are definitely in the questionably close range with the 620W.
I would want a 650W and preferably a 750W that GPU and your hardware.

Re: Computer problem

The Corsair HX620W should be ample for a GTX260.

Recheck all PSU connections. Try starting the computer without the graphics card. You should hear three beeps. The goal there is to see if the mobo light no longer flickers when the GPU isn't present.
