looking for some build advice
I need to build a computer that is gonna be used for graphic arts type work...
I'm trying to keep cost down I'm looking for something around 600 and also another around 1000. For graphics arts a quad core would do better, the stock heat sink will work just fine so save the cost on that and switch to Q9550.
I would also opt for 2x2gig of ram. What OS are you thinking of using? |

I'd go with a WD Hdd instead of the Samsung. The Black Series has a 32MBCache and 5 yr. warranty.
LG or Lite-On for the DVDRW. Ditto on the suggestions for the CPU & RAM that wrench97 suggested.
