new laptop help

Hi, I've decided to upgrade my desktop.

I've made my mind up that for my needs a laptop is a better solution.
My port of call to do this is a website that gives you all sorts of options to design your own laptop and they will build it.

I'm not the most computer literate person but I've come up with some specs and i wondered if anyone out there would give them the once over to check that I've got a good powerful laptop.

Here are the specs:-

Processor (CPU)

Intel® Core™2 Duo Mobile T9900 (3.06GHz) 1066MHz FSB/6MB L2 Cache

Memory (RAM)

4GB CORSAIR DDR3 1066MHz SODIMM - LIFETIME WARRANTY!

Operating System

Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium 64-bit + Windows 7 Upgrade Voucher (£84)

Bluetooth & Infrared Options

INTEGRATED BLUETOOTH ADAPTER (£7)

Memory - Hard Disk

320GB SERIAL ATA II 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 16MB CACHE (7,200rpm)

CD/DVD Drive

2x SATA BLURAY ROM + 8x DVD±R/RW/Dual Layer & 16x CD-RW (£89)

Graphics Card

512MB DDR3 ATi RADEON HD 4650 + HDMI & VGA

2nd Graphics Card

NONE

Network Facilities

ONBOARD GIGABIT LAN & WIRELESS 802.11G NETWORK CARD (£6)

Modem / Mobile Broadband

INTEGRATED 56KBPS V92 MODEM

Stand-Alone Monitor

NONE

Keyboard & Mouse

NONE

Speakers

NONE

Webcam

INTEGRATED 2.0 MEGAPIXEL WEBCAM

Headsets (VOIP)

NONE

Surge Protection

NONE

Printer

NONE

Anti-Virus

NONE

Office Software

NONE

Stands & Port Replicators

NONE

Battery

6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery (4,800 mAh) - up to 3 Hours Battery Life

Power Lead & Adaptor

1 x UK Power Lead & 90W AC Adaptor

I think ive got myself a good powerful laptop but any other opinions would be accepted.

Thanks

Neil

Re: new laptop help

Do you have a specific place in mind to purchase or are you inquiring about a site that custom builds laptops?
