I have some choices to make regarding my components. As of now I am torn between two different systems, the only difference now is the CPU, motherboard, and RAM. I need help to know which one would be a better system and if it would even be compatible.

Re: Which system to build? Compatible?

the AMD system with this board instead is a hellva platform (uses DDR2 memory) which is as good as DDR3 with less headaches

or the intel set-up with the E8500 would be a killer too

the E8500 will overclock higher if youre into that ?

either way you will be very happy; but defintely dump the asus board with the onboard video; good high performance boards dont have onboard video .........onboard = economy level board

Re: Which system to build? Compatible?

Raidmax casres are usually on he flimsy side.
I would go with the Intel E8400 build with a ASUS P5Q Turbo $125

If you're not going to do any serious OC'ing, use the stock heatsink/fan.
I not a fan of anything XFX. I prefer Sapphire or PowerColor for ATI chipped graphics cards.
