Need help making a gaming pc!!
Hello there, not really sure where I am to post this, due to this being my first time posting on this site. I recently have decided I would like to upgrade to a new gaming pc and just needed some help on specs to do so and would appreciate it if anyone could give me a full set up on what I should do.
Money is not an issue at all, give me specs for an amazing computer, items etc(links would be great!). I greatly appreciate the help, just want to make sure I get the best there is so I have no problems in the future and want to play gaming at MAX!! Thanks again! |

Re: Need help making a gaming pc!!
Try making a post here:
http://www.techsupportforum.com/hard...port/building/ We'll need a budget range. Some people will suggest Core i7 as the 'latest and greatest' tech out there, but in my opinion (and that of most of the other tech team members) the performance improvement over high-end Core 2 Duo is negligible, especially for the price.

Re: Need help making a gaming pc!!
I don't really have much of a budget but just for figuring out what parts, I'll say that I'd like to not spend over 1500 on it, please let me know your ideas, thanks a lot for the responses!

Re: Need help making a gaming pc!!
The $800 build in the link I supplied will do most anything you need.
If you want more, go to the $1200 build. If I was doing the either build, i would substitute the Mobo for this: ASUS P5Q Turbo $125 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131375 The DVDRW for this: LG DVDRW $29 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827136167 The aftermarket CPU cooler is not necessary unless you're going to do some serious OC'ing.
