Re: Crysis gaming pc under 750?

no go for a core 2 quad E8400,e8500 or e8600, Asus P6QT mobo with a 8800GTX graphics card and Antec 900 two gaming case and 4GB Corsair dominator RAM. The rest can be chosen by you but you will get decent frame rates with that set up.

No games need quad cores not even Crysis. My old £200 system runs crysis on high with decent frame rates and spec of that pc is

Asus P5NE-Sli mobo
2GB Crucial Baliistix Ram
8600GT Graphics Card
2.1GHz core 2 Duo CPU

The only things quad cores help with are video and music editing and virtualization software apart from that they aren't worth it and by the time games and other apps start using them Octol core cpus will be on the market.
