Is this compatible?
I am looking into building my own computer. As this will be my first time I am in need of some help. I need to know if I bought the following parts if they would be compatible. I would also want to know of any ways I could spend less money in the process. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811156098 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813188046 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227365 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115037 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835186134 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102849 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106325 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006 If I am missing anything or if there is something that should be adapted plz reply. - Steven |

Re: First time builder need help is this compatible??
Your links are broken... Could you give the brand and model of the part as well besides the links? It's annoying to have to open each link individually to find out what you're looking at, and these ones are broken besides.

Re: First time builder need help is this compatible??
The CPU you have chosen is incompatible with the motherboard. I would not choose that motherboard anyway, as Nvidia chipset boards are prone to being buggy when paired with Intel CPUs. I would recommend the CPU you chose (E8400 3.0GHz) with this motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...k=GA-EP45-UD3P And this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2X4096-8500C5C Also, instead of that DVD drive I would choose this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106289 Faster and cheaper. The rest looks ok.
