Building my first computer please help!!!!!

I'm building my first computer and here are the parts I'm thinking about using. I have three questions

1. Are all the parts compatible with each other?

2. Is the power supply strong enough?

3. Will the motherboard fit with the case?

CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E7500 Wolfdale 2.93GHz 3MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Memory: CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-8500C5C G

Video Card: GIGABYTE GV-N94TOC-512I GeForce 9400 GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Optical Drive: LG - 22x Internal Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive

Power Supply Unit: CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

Computer Case: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

oh and my budget is under $1000 and I won't be using it for gaming but would like the ability to run two monitors at once. The help would be greatly appreciated by this noob.

Re: Building my first computer please help!!!!!

1. Yes, all the parts are compatible. Kudos for the choice of processor, its well capable of running most applications. The graphics card is fine if you dont plan on playing any games.
2.Power supply is powerful enough - in fact, it might even be a little too much, but thats not going to cause any problems - better off not to skimp on good power. :)
3.All those parts will fit in the case perfectly. That case can fit either ATX or Micro-ATX boards. Your board is full size ATX, so it will be fine.

Good luck with the build, let us know how it turns out!

-Mick.

Yes to all 3 questions.
If you budget permits, the WD Black Series offers a 5 yr. warranty and it's only $13 more.
