Re: Possible AMD Build - Let Me Know What You Think
DDR3 has some issues you may need to slow them down to get stability but for an AM3 build it's very nice and will run with the best of them.

Re: Possible AMD Build - Let Me Know What You Think
Actually I missed it that is a DDR2 board so DDR3 won't fit in it.

Re: Possible AMD Build - Let Me Know What You Think
What do you think about me substituting in this Mobo to get DDR3?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130223 What do you all think? Go DDR2 or DDR3? Price is a big factor for me. I'd like to keep this build under 700. Last edited by ChadBrommer; 07-14-2009 at 08:09 PM. |

Re: Possible AMD Build - Let Me Know What You Think
Tough spot AM3 should give you a future upgrade path, but DDR3 isn't as stable yet as DDR2.
How about this board> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128378 |
