[SOLVED] no display on my moniter
Just got new parts for my pc today.
Here are the specs: MOBO: Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo e2180 VGA: Sapphire ATi Radeon x1650 Pro 512mb AGP RAM: 2GB 667 mhz Kingston PSU: Coolmax 550watt I checked the plugs and I believe they are in there correct spots. Here is the problem, once I finished putting it all together and turned on the computer I get no display on my moniter. I let the pc sit there for a couple of minutes and still nothing happened. I tried turning it off and on a couple of times and still no luck. Also another problem is the power switch on my tower turns on automatically without me pressing it. |

Re: no display on my moniter
Do you have the auxiliary power hooked to the video card?
24 pin main and 4 pin CPU power plugs to the motherboard? Try disconnecting the front panel wiring and momentarily jump the 2 power on pins with a screwdriver. |

Re: no display on my moniter
Decided to RMA the board and get a refund since I found out that the board has many many problems in the long run. Gonna go for a full upgrade on my desktop now instead of trying to increase the life of my agp system. Thanks for the help though, much appreciated.
