Once Again Worried Bout a Recent Purchase...

I recently purchased a new custom gaming rig from ebay, from a 99.9% good feedback seller I might add, and out of excitement Iv been studying all the components coming with the computer. The specs are...

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 6000+ AM2
Motherboard AM2: Asus M3A78 Socket AM2+/ AMD 770/ SATA2/ A&GbE/ ATX Motherboard
Memory: DDR2: 4GB STT DDR2-800 128x8 Memory 2x 2GB sticks
Hard Drive(s): 320GB SATA2 7200rpm 16MB Hard Drive
Optical Drive(s): 22X SATA Lightscribe DVD+/-RW Internal Drive
Video Card(s): nVidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB 2DVI/HDTV PCI-Express Video Card
Power Supply: APEVIA 500W JAVA Power Supply-Black
Case: BLACK CASE-51W WINDOW CASE

All for 583$ too!

So anyhow, here is my concerns...
The CPU puts out 125Watts, while the video cards recommended wattage is 450, if Im correct. I did upgrade the PSU from a 400watt to a 500 watt thinking I should be covered. Well when I ordered it I was unaware of the wattage supply needed and now Im worried. Will all this work fine under that 500 Watt PSU? The specs of the psu are...

Is this so or would you consider me in the safe zone? Plz help a overly excited, somewhat worried, new pc buyer and lay my worries to rest, hopefully? Thankyou for your time and patience in this long post and I appreciate your tech gurus advice/help.

Two real issues the way I see it. First of all Apevia power supplies are a good paperweight, but not much else. They are very low quality and a cheap supply. I would not sell one of those in my shop.

Second, the power supply is not big enough for that video card. You need a 650 supply to run this rig with that card.
