Rate my friend's new system

From a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, rate this system he picked out. I was just wondering how good of a system he really got and I decided to ask you guys seeing you all are really tech savvy.

Processor: Intel i7 920 2.66 GHz
Hard Drive: 1 TB (dont know the brand)
Graphic Card: 2 ATI HD4850 in Crossfire with 1 GB on each card
Motherboard: MSI x58 (not really sure about anything else on it)
RAM: OCZ DDR3 1200? (2) 3x2 GB .. 12 GB
Soundcard: Its like 7.1 channels or something like that .. its like a Xtreme?
Case: Antec 1200
Power Supply Unit: 850W (dont know the brand)

I am sorry that I don't have all of the information but he bought like name brand stuff. All together it cost like $1,600 (US).

solid system ............I'll say 8.5

although the whole rating thing is such an opinionated matter

there is REAL computing power and then their is just "spending money"

he did well; as long as he got a quaility power supply that is ?
