what to put in a new macnine for laser engraver

Hello all, newbie here. I have just purchased a laser engraving /cutting machine and I want a dedicated computer for it. Corel will be the voice of reason for the engraver and it will need at least 2gh and 4gb ram lots of graphics as this machine will engrave a picture in anything with all the detail. So what do you all think works.
Thanks for your help.

Re: what to put in a new macnine for laser engraver

Does the engraver manufacturer list min. system specs? Or is it just the 2ghz CPU and 4gb of RAM?

How does it interface with the PC, Serial port, Parallel port, or USB port?
