My new build project

Hey guys. I figured I should document this build, as it's going to be long term, and custom. Instead of getting all explanatory at the beginning, i'm going to let the list do the talking. All new, nothing old.

Peripherals:
Computer:
This list is set in stone as long as all the compatibility lines up. I know everyone has their opinions on brands and what not, but this is just perfect for me (Graphic Designer) and moderate gamer. Plus, for just about $2000 American, I want the brand name, and parts that make it fun/good for me :P . The case is going to be customized to be a part of my portfolio (My logo and what not will be on there).

Hopefully (paycheck willing) I will be ordering the case, fans and dampening material very soon (within a week and a half I think). That will most likely be the most time intensive part, as I'm going to do it right, since it will effectively be part of my portfolio.

Re: My new build project

I guess from what you said you are just documenting this list, but I am just documenting something that I think is important to your build. I will post this and then go away since you are "set in stone", so here is my comment.

While I applaud your effort to put a strong power supply in this rig with an 850 watt unit, you have the wrong company and product for outstanding power supplies.

If this were a Seasonic, a Corsair, or a PC Power and Cooling 850, then you would be in top-of-the-line class. However, Antec still struggles with having quality companies build their power supplies. The internals of their supplies are just not up to the quality of the ones I mentioned in my comment.

Now, no need to reply since you are set in stone, but I thought it necessary since you posted to give the comment.

Therefore, I will go on to the next person who needs assistance. Good luck with your build.

Re: My new build project

Thanks for the advice :) It is appreciated and will be considered. I've just had luck with Antecs VS others. Perhaps I just get the luck of the draw? hah.
