First build

Hello, I am looking for some help in building a new desktop I hope I'm doing this properly
My budget is about $700-1000
Intel, Kingston, Seagate
I don't know if I'll be m multitasking probably not though

WoW and maybe dawn of war
DVD/CD burning mostly video and data
No overclocking
Music, video, pictures etc.
Most likely not
Vista compatibility
I know nothing about cases, I guess medium size
Looking for a 24" monitor widescreen
I live in the United States
here again I hope I did this okay I was referred by a friend he told me bunch:Dof kind people here :D

The monitor will be like 300+ alone.....a decent cpu is like 200. thats 500 without anything else. You sure you want a 24 inch?
