I am buying a new netbook

I just bought a custom computer, now I am getting a netbook. I don't want to hear "they suck" etc etc. I know what they are meant for I do alot of traveling and its just for internet email etc. Here is the one I am getting: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218049006317

It comes with a gig of ram, and I want to make it 2 gigs. Also it says the speed is 533mhz. Would be ok if I got a new ram chip with a speed of 667 mhz?? Can someone please point me in the direction of a 2 gig stick of ram speed 533mhz (or if it will work 667mhz+) don't worry about the cost. Also no ram thats meant for OC'ing (obviously because I can't)

Thanks

Get it off newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834115510

Slightly better, same price.

Not sure about upgradability.

I know, I can't help with that, I was just pointing out a slightly better deal is all.

Re: I am buying a new netbook

conner, if you get 667 ram it will still run at 533, so no point in spending the extra money on that. i would rather look for the latencies of the ram you buy. any standard ddr2 so-dimm should be fine.

Re: I am buying a new netbook

well, on the website it says "up to 1.5gb w/the 512mb included onboard" so it might seem that the system is limited to only 1gb additional ram.
i have a hard time seeing why but i don't want to recommend something that doesn't work, so here is another suggestion.
