Hello, I have a custom built pc, the guy I bought the case from had removed the power button and put a toggle switch in its place and hooked it up to clear cmos. I want to put a power switch back on it, what kind of button or toggle switch do I need, would just a 2 way toggle work or?

Re: Power Button Question

No it needs to be a momentary switch (like a door bell) it only makes contact and closes when pressed.

Re: Power Button Question

What Brand and model of case do you have if you know?
A hardware or auto supply store should have momentary push button switches or momentary toggle switch would work but I think the push button would work out better for you.
