Some new PC parts

Hi I'm looking to upgrade some of the parts of my PC for gaming. Basically the case, MB, Processor, RAM and the monitor. Graphics are fine with my nVidia 9800GTX+. Also going to buy a ThermalTake 750W PSU in a couple days as my present cheap one isn't handling things too well. I was looking at the Intel I7 series, namely the i7 920. Some overclocking may be in the future however unlikely to happen within a year. Storage is also fine as I have a new Samsung
7200rpm 1TB drive. Will be used with windows XP for now and possible upgrade to windows 7 if it is good. Case should provide some good cooling and be able to take my 9800. The monitor doesn't have to be very big, picture quality is more important to me. Budget is around 600-700 pounds, but cheaper is possible is always welcome if it still provides

Just need some advice on which MB, RAM, moniter and case will go together without much hassle and meet my needs. If you need anymore information then ask and I will post. Thanks!

you can forget I7 set-up ........ you dont have the budget for that ......... they are rather overpriced right now and barely beat the Core 2 D's

Re: Some new PC parts

You sure i don't have the budget? The moniter cost wasn't really part of the budget I stated as i didn't know really know how much that would be. Sorry if this caused confusion ;)

In the words of Linderman "If you buy that, make sure that PSU is used as a door stop"
