Some what a new computer

I need a new video card, I can run PCI/PCI-E. I want to be able to play CoD4/WaW, Halo 2, some others on high settings with no lag at all. Also, I need a new power supply. I have a mATX mobo (at least 400 Watts) And also a new case, like I said for a mATX. (as I know some cases come with included power supplies, if you can I would prefer that). Please try and keep it under $350-$400 total Thanks
Other specs: (I want to keep my current mobo)

Windows XP Pro Sp3
2.5 Gigs of Ram
3.0 Ghz Intel Pent. 4
350 Gig HD

Thanks again

Re: Some what a new computer

What motherboard do you have?
If this is a Branded PC like a Dell,HP,Gateway Brand and Model of the PC, if a Custom build Brand and model of the motherboard.

Most PSU's that come with cases are not very good some are older models the manufacturers are looking to get rid of others just plain low quality junk.

Does it have to be a mAtx case or will a mid tower that accepts a mAtx and Atx boards work?

Re: Some what a new computer

I figured it must fit a mAtx board but there are mAtx only cases and then the more popular Atx/mAtx which you can put either board into like the one I linked.

The problem is that Dell boards are not standard mAtx the I/O plate on that board will not fit a standard case without a lot of modification to the case.

Re: Some what a new computer

I was thinking this:

Case:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&Sku=A107-1123

Video Card:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...991&CatId=1826
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...366&CatId=1826

New Ram:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...708&CatId=3409

New DVD Drive:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...02822&CatId=88

**Questions**
1) Will my mobo fit in that case? (mATX)
2) Will that power supply be good enough?
3) Will that video card fit in the case?
4) Will I be able to run games such as Cod4/WaW, Halo 2
5) Will the DVD drive fit in the new case and be compatible with the power supply an case?

Why won't my mobo fit? The case says mATx and I have a mATX mobo. Also 550 watt? I am not running that much stuff. Hard Drive/DVD Drive/Video Card (PCI-E) 2 Fans/ Mobo

500 Watt won't be enough? Should I just go with 600? Other than the PSU is everything else good?

Nevermind about that PSU, won't work anyway I forgot I need a mATX one. Can you help me find one?

Re: Some what a new computer

It will not fit in any cases made for standard atx/matx it's a dell proprietary board made to fit dell cases. The link I posted was before you told us it was a Dell board.

Re: Some what a new computer

Dell boards are made deliberatley not to fit standard cases ................ compare a close picture of your board and the components on the board and their location compared to a standard retail m/atx board like asus makes ........... you will soon see the layout is all diff
