Build gone wrong
Lets see i felt like finnaly upgrading my computer mostly cause i got a free gtx 280 from a friend so i got a new mobo ram dvd burnner proccesor power supply and threw it all together and when i went to fire it up it all turned on but i got no vga out put on either the on board or the 280 and i tried both sepratly inluding th onboard with the 280 removed i have swaped proccesors and ram and such andi cant seems to get it to work i think its a bad mobo so before i retuned my mobo i was wondering about what dou you guys think it may be theres are the parts i got inside it
pc chips p53g mobo 4 gig ddr2 667 ram (2x2g) the gtx280 Power supply i forgot what it was but i did all the reasearch and it can run the 280 in sli and then some so i know thats not the problem old 80 hd ( i wasnt gonna throw in my good two till it got working) and an intel 7400 c2d proccesor with stock heatsink(once again once it gets running ill put on a better one and overclock it but i want it all to work stock first) and i think thats all so hopefully you guys can help thanks in advanced |

I would say bad motherboard .............. Pchips is rather shaky on dependability ..........
send that one bad .............. maybe you can bump up to a Gigabyte GA-EP45-Ds3L ($99.00) world of improvement there ............. especially if you are a gamer !
