Will this psu work in this case?

Case

PSU

This is my first build and was told the psu would not fit, but received no clarification. All I could find was that the case was an atx full tower, and that the psu was an atx12v... which by my understanding should work.

If these are not compatible could someone please suggest a psu that would work.

Thanks

Re: Will this psu work in this case?

Thanks!

Yea I posted a build on an off-topic forum and was told about the "problem".

Since I'm new to building I was concerned... but from the information that is available I had no reason to think they wouldn't be compatible.

:)

Re: Will this psu work in this case?

If this were my build, I would get rid of the Apevia PSU and get either a Corsair, a Seasonic, or PC Power & Cooling power supply. Apevia is not a top quality supply IMHO.

Re: Will this psu work in this case?

I'm actually looking at a Corsair psu right now. The Apevia was only 40 bucks with rebates and at the time I looked was extremely cost efficient. I was mainly concerned with the PSU actually fitting inside the case when I was told it wouldn't.

Thinking of going with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005 a 650w ATX12V / EPS12V

Re: Will this psu work in this case?

the Corsair is a FAR better choice

spending $40.00 on that apevia .......... you could go over to the toilet flush your $40.00 and save money on shipping
