building a decent gaming computer with blu-ray

I am building a desktop with a Foxconn P45A-S LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard, a Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 Wolfdale 2.8GHz, a Radeon HD 4670 512MB, 2gb of ram at 800mhz, and a SONY 2X Blu-ray DVD ROM Model BDUX10S, and a 550 watt power supply. Will i be able to burn blu-ray and then play them straight from my PC?, and will i be able to play games like crysis and world at war at midrange settings to higher settings?

Re: building a decent gaming computer with blu-ray

It's a rom drive and not a burner, it only plays.

Here's the graphics card heirarchy from Tom's. It's similar to
the nVidia 9600GSO, it'll play, how well depends on other factors as well, but you should be good.
