First time builder
I already know all of these parts are fully compatible with each other, they will be arriving in a few days. I know it's a budget build, but I was hoping if I could get some feedback on what kind of performance I should be expecting from this rig.

Re: First time builder
The chieltec psu scares me they are not very good, and the ram should be faster the 7750 is a 2 core phenom so it is built to handle 1066. other then that it should run fine.

Re: First time builder
Ok. Would you recommend vista or xp for this build?
And would this be a good replacement for the previous ram stick? Kingston ValueR. DDR3 1066MHz 4GB, CL7, Kit w/two matched ValueRAM 2GB DDR3 Last edited by Seerix; 02-10-2009 at 01:37 PM. |

Re: First time builder
Go to www.kingston.com and put your motherboard model into their configurator. In the OP you mentioned ddr2 and then ddr3 in the last post. Getting compatable ram is a good idea.

Re: First time builder
Phillips screwdriver.
Needlenose pliers come in handy here and there. One thing I use a lot of, but you may not need to, well two things. Magnifying glass. flashlight.
