OS: win xp 32


New build

i am stating a new build, could i get some advice on a power supply.


mother board - foxconn destroyer
cpu - phenom II 940
video - xfx 9800 gt+ in sli
hard drives - 150g raptors x2
os - vista 64

i have an ocz 850 gxtreme psu with these specs
+3.3v +5 12v1 12v2 12v3 12v4 -12v +5vsb

30a 30a 20a 20a 20a 20a 1a 3.0a

the video cards need 24a
will this psu be enough to power up this system, or should i look into a diff psu unit?

that power supply will pull the load ................ however I would suggest you look to an intel platform right now ............ they are far superior to the AMD offerings right now and they overclock very easy .................

I also suggest you forget SLI unless you already own both video cards ........... one high end card will outperform most SLI offerings with alot less expense

one 260GTX will out perform 2 @ 9800 GT's

one 280GTX even more so

hell one ATI 4870 will do that and they can be had for about $230.00 now !
