New System. Start-up Hesitation.
Hello. I don't recall if I have properly introduced myself. My name is Brandon and I like computers. ;)
I have just built a system utilizing an Intel DX48BT2 motherboard, Intel Q9550 CPU, 4GB of Mushkin HP DDR3 12800 and an Evga 9800 GT graphics card. It's all powered by a Thermaltake 750W modular PSU and enclosed in an NZXT Tempest case. Running Vista Ultimate Edition. CPU operating temp stays 47 - 49 degrees Celsius at 1.11-1.15v with the use of an Arctic Pro 7 cooler (via Intel DCC). MCH voltage, 1.18v. Only two of the 140mm exhaust fans are currently powered as well as two 120mm intake fans. I did not have to configure anything via BIOS for it to detect properly. I am not using SATA 0 header as it is partially violated by the graphics card. To the issue: When the power button is pressed, the system powers up for about 1 second and turns off. It does so two or three times and finally starts up and begins the boot process. What is my issue? Last edited by airtight_python; 02-05-2009 at 12:13 AM. |
