High tech gaming pc.
I want TOP performance, I can spend up to about 2,500.00 (If you seen my previous post it was 500 dollars, I made quite a upgrade XD). I'd like someone to list all the pc parts I would need to create a fully functional gaming pc. (Also, I will be getting a laptop. You don't need to but if you like, I'd like to have someone build that to)
_____________________________________________________________ Side note - the desktop computer will be running on 3 monitors, (Tripple Head to go), Also I want Windows vista on both systems 62 bit. Last edited by TheBLACKOUTGOW; 12-29-2008 at 01:26 AM. |

Re: High tech gaming pc.
For one its Vista 64 bit :-) 2 the parts you need would be a: PSU, some decent ram, Motherboard, Processor, if you're overclocking decent aftermarket cpu cooler, 2 gpu's atleast (if you are running 3 monitors) hard drives, Disk drives, Case and some fans. For psu I'd check the "PSU Information and selection" and choose one of those reccomended ones, for gpu's I'd reccomend a really nice ATI hd4800 Card (4830, 4850, 4870) Recommending mainly 2 4870's in Crossfire. For psu Go with intel FTW a core 2 quad q9300. For mobo go with probably any p45 chipset (For gaming) possibly an asus maximus formula II. And would go with some nice corsair ram, and a 1tb western digital and a zalman cooler for the CPU and an antel 900 (I have a 300 and LOVE it) and Of course just scour newegg for some case fans even though the 900 has more than enough but you can never have enough cooling

Re: High tech gaming pc.
Don't go with the gtx 260, It's actually a **** card. Just look in video card section heaps of low performance threads for the 260 aswell as ATI is just out performing so much.
