Building

I too am building my first PC with the same mobo.

I'm looking at an AMD x4 9950 Black Edition (2,6ghz) proccessor)

I need to find good Ram. How's yours looking with the speed.

Re: My first build. All help is welcomed.

Since you want to game, why are you going with AMD. You want processor speed and that can be achieve with Intel's Core 2 Duo E8400, 8500 or 8600. Also, I would look at the Radeon series of video cards that are currently performing quite well.
Good Luck!

Re: Building

Just curious, right now, what is AMD better for? I would really love the see another golden age for AMD like with their Athlon 64 series.
