Budget PC Build - Need Help Picking
1. Budget: 350 to 500 USD (lower the better within reason)
2. Brands: N/A 3. Multitasking: I want to be able to have multiple applications open. Things such as Adobe CS3, Word, FireFox, IM Clients running at full speed open simultaneously. 4. Gaming: I won't be playing any games on this aside from older games (counter-strike/half-life would be the most intensive I want to play for now) I do want room to expand the graphics capabilities in the future. But literally don't want anything I don't absolutely need right now. 5. Calculations: I like to burn movies, create art, code programs.. and I want it to be useful for this type of work. 6. Overclocking: N/A 7. Storage: I want standard amount of internal storage. I will get an external in the near future. 8. Legacy Support: No. 9. Operating System: None, I have plenty of spare operating systems. 10. Case: I want a cheap priced case that looks decent without anything special that will put a dent in my wallet. I do want it to be expandable for future add-ons. So bigger is better unless this will break my budget. 11. Accessories: None 12. Recycled Components: Just monitor, keyboard, mouse. 13. Monitor: N/A 14. Stores: No preference. I want to order it all together if possible to save cost on shipping. 15. Location: USA Hoping someone can help me with this budget. I know it's tight, but this is mostly just a work computer that is expandable in memory and gfx ability. I am using a 1.5ghz 386 ddr ram pc with a cheapo 256 ddr2 agp gfx card that has 40gb hd space and a tower that has been scrapped to pieces. Thanks for help, can't wait to see what you can come up with |
