Almost Finished
I've got a rig I'm working on, and I'm ALMOST finished. Here's what I've got so far:
Lite-On DVD Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106228 500GB WD HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136073 GeForce 9500GT 512MB Video Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130378 Corsair 750Watt PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006 Intel E7200 2.53GHz Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115052 Outside of that, I need a motherboard and case. Motherboard I would prefer if it could use 240Pin DDR2 800 RAM and is capable of utilizing at least 4GB of it, since that's what's in my current rig. Any suggestions on mobo and case? EDIT: I found this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128356 and this case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811124116 Will all that work together? I'm hoping so, because if it will I'm gonna start buying the parts soon Last edited by KoLAddict; 11-14-2008 at 04:28 AM. |

Re: Almost Finished
Looks like you are on the right track. BTW, just a suggestion the e8400 is about $40 more, but heads and shoulders above the cpu you have selected. It would be well worth the extra bucks to move on up to that great CPU.

Re: Almost Finished
if you watch Mwave.com / click on refurbished / click on motherboards you can find some super discounts on high class motherboards and power supplies ........ altough its tuff to beat the Corsair 750-TX at its current price tag ....... but sometimes you can shave off $25.00 to $30.00 on the Coolermaster real power pro 750 watt for $70.00 in the refurb section now and then ?????????
