Me first gaming PC!! :O

Can someone double check this and make sure its all compatible Incase I skimped out on something (This is a gift for nephews, they play all the newest games and crap so I went for DDR3 and Quad core)

Im going with build recommended by linderman, for my gaming pc

Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6 motherboard

intel Q9650 cpu

thermalright 120 ultra extreme cpu heatsink / cooler

ATI 4780 X2 = video card

Corsair HX 1000 watt power supply

2 x 2 gigs of Corsair Dominator ram PC2-8500 (1066mhz)

Antec 1200 gaming case

Since you would rarely use quad core with the current games, you might consider the E8500 or E8600 which are easily OC to 4. You would get essentially the same results as the quad except for a few examples that utilize the a quad.
Also, you could get a very good video system utilizing the 4850X2 for less money. Again, unless you are utilizing very high resolutions, you would not know the difference.

Essentially, the same system that I am building.
