Re: Is this computr patable? :o

HI Domzz and welcome to the forum

Couple of things for you to think about the E5200 is a 800Mhz FSB and 2 meg cache so you don't need the 1066 memory you never get the cpu to overrun 800 memory.
Also Intel retail cpu's come with a heat sink and fan in the box if your planing on overclocking and that's why you picked the Asus cooler then you would be better off with a Gigabyte or Asus Board.
Also you might want to look at the E7200 wich is a Core2Duo with more cache and a 1066Mhz FSB for about $40 more.
What are you looking to do with your new PC?

Re: Is this computr patable? :o

I think you would see the difference in the 2 the 7200 is a faster CPU, They both (E7200, E5200) come with a fan heat sink assembly, which at stock speeds cool them just fine, for gaming you don't need/want a Quad core games are just starting to use 2 cores effectively gaming id still about clock speed, here is an article comparing the E7200 to a Q6600 and a E8400 > http://www.techspot.com/review/100-i...re2-duo-e7200/

Re: Is this computr patable? :o

Budget the E7200, for an all out gaming rig the E8400 or E8500.
