[SOLVED] need help with a power supply

I have recently done a major overhaul and my existing power supply seems to be getting hotter than usuall.(coolmax 1200 watt CUQ series) I since added a freezone elite/2xgtx280sc/qx9650/.I originally had a corsair water cooling system/2x9800gtx/q6600/.The upgrade seems to be drawing more on the PSU and causing temps to be greater all around. Can some one recomend a power supply that can not only supply my pc comfortably but also run cooler. I have an antec 1200 case and the psu is about an inch and a half below the second gpu causing temps to be greater in that card than the top one I have tried moving more air thru the case.but still during crysis/warhead and so on the temps just skyrocket and thats with all the fans going at max, including the gpu's. I am not overclocking yet and I am running all factory settings on the gpu's and low voltage on the cpu.

Re: need help with a power supply

My first choice would be a PC Power & Cooling 1200 watt. My second would be a Silverstone 1200 watt then lastly a Thermaltake Toughpower 1200watt.

Re: need help with a power supply

As you now know the Coolmax is a very cheap power supply. Look for one of the following for a quality power supply:

Seasonic – Any Model
Corsair – Any Model
PC Power & Cooling – Any Model
Thermaltake – “Toughpower” Series Only
Coolermaster – “Real Power Pro” Series Only
Silverstone – Any Model
