Front Panel Connectors

Ok I connected the Power Led, Power Switch, Reset, and something else.

Now there is only one thing left that says "Speaker" Whats that supposed to be? Is it important because if it is. DOH!

I think its the internal system speaker, but I don't know where to connect it. I'm using the Nvidia 780i

Re: Front Panel Connectors

I have the ULTRA Aluminus Case. Case manual doesn't tell anything about the panel connectors and the mobo manual tells only about Pwr Led, Pwr, Sw, Reset, and something else. No speaker

Re: Front Panel Connectors

If you will take a flashlight and look along the side of those pins where the front panel header is located, (I use a magnifying glass with a flashlight) you will see on the majority of boards printing which tells which wire goes on which place. It will be engraved on the motherboard right beside the pins. Be sure to also enlarge the page on front panel header from the manual. That way, you can get them on the correct pins.

Re: Front Panel Connectors

Did you look at the diagram that I gave you the link to. It shows it on there (is not right beside the others) with a diagram.

Re: Front Panel Connectors

BTW, maybe your manual is a revision. Open the link I posted earlier and when you get it open, then go to page 33, it is there. Shows how it is hooked up and where.
