How to set up many computers like the one I just did.. without the effort
Hi Guys,
We buy new machines and every time I install all the software with all the same settings but it takes about 1day per machine. I know there's something out there that will automate it but im not sure what's best. I could image the hard drive and copy it but that's not very clean (windows activation keys, hardware/driver differences). I don't mind installing xp/vista myself, it's everything after that which I would like to automate. (also would like to be able to add new software to the automation every now and again). Also heard you can use software to create scripts that click the install buttons but it sounds long winded...? Your thoughts on the best way to do this? Thanks, Leigh |
