Monitor specs? size choice

How does Monitor size affect performance? I know crazy big monitors are more intense on your system. Is a 19" 1680x1050 better than a 22"1680x1050 all other things equal? I would prefer the larger screen if there is no trade off in performance.

Re: Monitor specs? size choice

It depends on your video card and what you do with the PC, A large video card will actually perform better on a large monitor than a smaller one for gaming as an example.

Re: Monitor specs? size choice

With a HD4850 you should be fine on a 22" wide screen from 19 to 22 at the same resolution everything gets a little bigger and when using a zoom feature straight lines will look a little more jagged because the pixel size is a little larger but performance wise will be nearly identical
