installing vista from start
right..
i dont know if its me that is the dumbone or my friend... My friend is saying: i have to put the vista disk in from POST screen and by the time it asks you where you want vista to be saved.. Im meant to put my motherboard driver disk in? i mean.. WTH? ive never heard such nonsence in my life? From past experience installing system operators, ive always put the system disk in when asked and let it load untill the System is installed. never have i had to put the motherboard driver disk in half way through a vista installation!? can someone clear me up? because he's saying now that IT COULD CAUSE TROUBLE LATER? i dont know if i should believe him because if he's right, surely, i would know earlier than 4 days? ive been playing on this new rig after building it on everything HIGH gfx and also ran multiple amounts of programs with no trouble, except the odd " not responding" from msn. Thanks in advance. |

Re: installing vista from start
Put the Vista disk in and reboot it will start automatically you install the drivers after installing the OS, The only exception was with XP you needed to install the Sata/Raid drivers at the F6 prompt on the XP loading screen. With Vista you don't need to.
