Re: Building my computer
Mainly for watching films, university work, music, a bit of picture editing, etc. I dont tend to play games. I have a copy of windows xp i can use which is handy. Is the onboard video card good enough for this? dont need a card reader. will need a wireless pci card though.

Re: Building my computer
This PSU will give you a little room should you decide to get a modest HDMI Video card in the future while being quiet and lasting a long time. > http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139003
For a wireless adapter I've used this one a couple of times it's not bad if you have a good signal >http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16839121008 |

Re: Building my computer
If you are buying the boxed CPU it comes with a stock heat sink fan assembly I think for what you'll be using it for it will be more than enough, if your buying an OEM model then the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 > http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835186134

Re: Building my computer
Just a Note:
Windows XP will not fully register the 4 GB of Memory. You'll be able to use 3.2 GB or so. (unless you install the 64-bit version of XP) Vista SP1 (32-bit) does use the full 4 GB. Cheers!

Quote:
Vista 32 bit and XP 32 bit will both see and use 4 gig they will only show 3.1-3.3 but can address the upper areas for system devices such as video. |
