System Problems

Maybe its not correct place to ask, I am not... I don't even know where to ask...

When I power up my computer, the computer seem to run fine, I could see LED displays in front, but doesn't see anything displaying on Monitor...
The DVD rom drive is going crazy, the tray keep open and close repeadly...

I have tested with RAM, by seating in each 4 slots.., replace new one, add Graphic Card in PCI slot (Orginally was connected on board VGA port)... nothing succed, what does it tell?

Faulty Mobo or Bad CPU?

Let me know

Re: System Problems

check the PSU power during all this happening ................. you may have to pull the motherboard out of the case and bench test it so you can back probe the main power connector if the power coming from the power supply is fluctuating.... that will make things act like that too

or you could have a bad board

How to Bench Test Your System

Re: System Problems

I could take motherboard out if its not Manufacturer's computer (Its a Dell Dimension 4700)
This system isn't mine, I am doing "Hands-on" Techncial Support experience for myself before I could obtain A+ HW/SW certification....

Would you still recommend me to take mobo out and do a bench test??
