Hey guys,
Recently built a new computer for a friend. NForce 680i Mobo NF68 Q6700 CPU 4 Gigs 800mhz Ram Geforce 9600 GT Alright, ive built a few computers and I am getting a bunch of weird problems. Originally bench tested and Mobo would post and run through a bunch of different codes, with ram and video card connected. All fans running. Then put system into the case and got ground issues which I eventually resolved. Now I have everything hooked up, including cd drive and hard drive and im getting a multitude of problems. The motherboard posts but will give me a LED code that means nothing. It will boot to the first screen but will not let me use connected keyboard or go any further than this. It will not count the ram in the system. Sometimes when it gets to this first screen the screen will be a little blurry or have little dots all over it. It detects the processor. Another problem is on power up it will just just keep POSTing over and over again. Im hoping that this is just a shorted or bad motherboard and that it didnt affect the processor? |
