Building my new Rig
Hey everyone, i wanted to see if i could get some expert opinion on the parts i chose for my new rig. Im looking for an above average Gaming PC, and from what i have here, it looks like i have achieved it.
The question is though, do you this what i have here is good enough to play games such as Battlefield 2, Call of Duty 4, and Crysis (with DirectX 9) on Very High settings. What im worried mostly about is not having enough RAM. But i dont wanna pay alot of money for a POS 64-bit Vista Ultimate, so i can go past 4GB of RAM. The OS im going to be using is 32-bit WinXP Home (the one im using on this machine), so no DX-10. Also, while your at it, could you please make sure everything is 100% compatible, so i can just open everything out of the box, stick everything on the Mobo and start it up and get started within minutes without having any problems, and ready to install the OS. Here is the link to the list: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=6618154&WishListTitle=New Computer Revised Thanks, GanonPhantom P.S. Is it ok to take the Windows XP key that i used for this computer and use it for my new one, if i uninstall XP on this computer? |
