want to bulid my own PC?!?!?!?!

well i have just had a pc built for me and it sort of inspierd me to build my own,
i know some very mild basics about computers and im sorta "skip diving" as i heard it called but i dont know what componants would be most compatable with others, so can anyone tell me what to look for within parts and any sites with cool cases (see through/ well lit etc)

well budget im not sure about possibly £200-£300

and i would be using it for downloading from the internet/gaming so i know that i would need a good ram and hdd.

Don't forget to do a quick PC audit to make sure your Motherboard/Processor and RAM are compatible as well as the software you intend to use!
